Enrollment

MeANS uses an individualized, project-based, hands-on approach with a curricular focus on agriculture, forestry and the environment. The high school diploma and our curriculum are based on state standards. Class sizes are small and students develop strong relationships with their teachers.

As a public charter school, students attend MeANS free of charge. To enroll with us:

  • complete the online INTEREST FORM
  • attend an Open House and/or Shadow Day (sign up below!)
  • schedule an interview by calling (207) 419-6500
  • complete enrollment paperwork after a spot is awarded

Students will be accepted into either the Campus or Threshold educational programs (depending on their situation and personal preference) as long as an opening exists in the appropriate grade level.

Come Visit Us At An Open House and Shadow Day!

Come join our Open House to learn about both our Campus and Threshold programs, and see if MeANS is a great fit for your high school student! Our Open House will feature a school tour, a short presentation and a chance to ask questions! Our Shadow Day will give your student the opportunity to “shadow” a MeANS student for a day – attending classes, joining our all-school assembly, and more!

Sign up for an Open House and Shadow Day below by selecting the day and signing up (free!). We will reach out to you about more details as we approach the date!
